Fall Arrivals- Free People

As fall merchandise arrives - reality starts to sink it... summer is almost over.  As a New Yorker it is hard to accept letting go of the Beach and the Hamptons for 10 months however,  seasonally changing my wardrobe always gives me something to look forward to.

 

Starting with this amazing shipment of Free People that just arrived to http://www.shopthegirlsroom.com/.  Free People is always my 'go to' brand that seems to fit into my everyday activities.  Weather going out on a sat night, lounging around my apartment with friends, running errands or casual plans- it has never failed me.  Not only do they make their clothes easy to layer and style- they are made to last.

What I love most about the Corduroy Twist pant in Dusty Pink is how they add a suddle hint of color to your outfit.  They are the pants you look at and wonder what you could possibly wear with them, but do not look too far into it- they actually go with almost everything.  One of the biggest trends for fall is color blocking and mixing psychedelic prints with colored bottoms.  Perfect for the not so loud - but trendy girl.

Personally, I am obsessed with this Drapey Poncho (pictured on the right).  I am always looking for something comfortable to throw over a basic tank that isn't a sloppy hoodie- but feels like one.  This top does the trick!

Free People happens to make the most comfortable Henley's.  They become softer with every wash and are always detailed with something different making each one special in its own way. 

The Melon top featured to the left is detailed with crocheted  sleeves and external stitching along the back.

As hard as it might be to think about sweaters right now- this Pull over Pegasis  is not so heavy.  You can still be wear it with shorts over a lightweight tank top in the fall and then into the winters with corduroys and a long sleeve top.  Having a sweater that can be worn through 2 seasons is definitely a bargain!

And since we are still rockin' in the 70's your wardrobe is not complete without a pair of high waisted, flares!  This pair happens to be very flattering, slimming and 75% cotton making them very forgiving!
